1. Question: Can I search or print
the entire database?
Answer: Quite a few members
have requested the option to view or print the entire list
of members. At present, we limit the search to protect the
privacy of all members. Searches by country, particularly
by the United States, give a comprehensive list of the membership.
2. Question: Can I automatically
receive a copy of the newsletter?
Answer: Alumni members and persons eligible to post jobs
can subscribe to the newsletter. There is a box to check
in the membership form. Select “update your membership”
and check the box to automatically receive newsletter issues.
3. Question: I registered, but the
site won’t accept my user name or password.
Answer: User names and passwords are case sensitive. Click
to log in, and request your user name and password on the
log-in page.
4. Question: I log in with the correct
user name and password, and I keep getting sent back to the
home page. Why is that?
Answer: Maybe your cookies are disabled in the browser.
If they are disabled then the code can't create a session
for you. If there is no session then the member pages redirect
people back to the home page. This is to prevent people
from getting in without a user name or password.
5. Question: How do I delete a duplicate
registration?
Answer: If you are unsure of your ID and password for each
of your membership profiles, click on “Forgot your ID and
password?” The system will then email your ID and password
to the email address given. If you do a search on your name,
and you have the same email address for the duplicate accounts,
it will email one set of Ids and passwords at a time. Delete
the first account, and then repeat the process. You will
then be emailed your second account ID and password.
6. Question: I can’t remember my
user name and/or password.
Answer: On the home page, click on Current Member? Log
in Here! The next screen will have a Member Sign-In box.
Click on Forgot your login Name or Password? Your ID and
password will be emailed to you.
7. Question:
I need to change my membership profile, i.e. my email address.
Answer: Each alumnus has access to his or her membership
information. Click on update your information. Make any
changes to your personal profile in the membership information.
It will then update the newsletter email list and other
areas of the database
